THE WAKING THE DEAD UNIVERSE comprises of mixed White Wolf/Onyx Publications campaigns with a strong leaning towards the themes of Hunter: the Vigil and the Second Edition books of the World of Darkness/The God Machine Chronicles. It consists of several sub-universes, with Waking the Dead Redux being its “main” iteration. The central setting of each campaign – where the action always starts for the players – is the Republic of the Philippines.
The campaigns take several cues from the original stories of WTD’s Storyteller, copies of which may or may not be circulating around online if you know who to ask and where to look. Furthermore, we can neither confirm nor deny the existence of logs tracking certain events or encounters between some of the universe’s characters.
